While on tour with Ozzy Osbourne, Metallica had reached its fame and popularity.
In 1986 they released their 3rd full length album, and this was the one that did it
for Metallica. This album introduced the idea of thrash metal which opened the door
to many metal groups today. Also this album had sold over 1 million copies in the U.S
alone without the support of singles or videos. This one is still considered a hot
seller to many Metallica fans today. It is also considered their best album ever.
