Metallica's first album was released in 1983 on Megaforce records 2 years
after Metallica had assembled. This album was a bunch of their stuff they
did from 1981 to 1983 and they recorded it and called it Kill em all.
With this album it contained their first single "Jump in The Fire" and
their anthem "Whiplash. The song Phantom Lord was titled from James' old
band Phantom Lord. In 1988 this album was re released on Elektra records
with the 2 bonus tracks on it, and then was re released again in 1991 with
the 2 bonus tracks deleted.
